Yesterday saw three more bracelets awarded, with Dylan Weisman collecting his second after winning the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha.
The Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas is getting quite congested now as organisers cram what looks like an ever increasing number of players into the hall.
Yesterday had five more events running alongside the three that completed to give us more champions.
Brent Hart Takes Down $5,000 NL Hold’em
The first event to finish last night was Event #16: $5,000 8-Handed No-Limit Hold’em where we saw Brent Hart win his first bracelet.
The American banked a cool $660,284 to take his career earnings past the $1.5 million mark.

Dylan Weisman Wins Second Bracelet
Dylan Weisman was next up to emerge victorious after he topped a field of 1,469 entries in Event #18: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha.
In yet another triumph for an American player, Weisman banked $294,311 out of a prize pool of $1,961,115.
Chino Rheem was Weisman’s final opponent. He was chasing his first bracelet and, given his recent success, probably did not care one iota about the $196,191 prize.
Poker legend continued his great run and the 79-year-old lasted until busting out in third place.

John Racner Pulls Back from the Brink to Win $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship
The third bracelet winner of Day 11 was John Racener, and what an unlikely victory this was after the American started the day with the smallest chip stack in Event #19: $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship.
But anything is possible until that moment a player walks to the rail.
Racener won $308,930 after outlasting a field containing nine bracelet winners and one who has won this event before.
This win marks another player winning their second bracelet at the WSOP 2024, this time seven years after Raceneer won his first in the competitive $10,000 Dealers Choice Championship in 2017.

Gladiators of Poker Tournament Approach 4,000 Entries After Two Days
Day 1b of Event #20: $300 Gladiators of Poker No-Limit Hold’em completed yesterday with a current number of 3,792 entries whittled down to 1,279.
Two more Day 1 starting flights are scheduled before Day 2 kicks off on June 10. We could still yet see another record field in this popular format.
High Roller 6-Max NL Down to Final 12
Event #21: $25,000 High Roller Six-Handed No Limit Hold’em is always a hard-fought event that attracts many of the best in the business.
At the end of play last night, 12 players remained with Brandon Wilson leading the way and feared 6-max player Kevin Rabichow sitting comfortably in seventh place.
Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey were both out before the money bubble but Erik Seidel managed a 23rd place finish.
Day 3 will play to a finish tonight.
Daniel Negreanu and Landon Tice Join Day 1b of $1,500 Shootout
The fast structure Event #23: $1,500 SHOOTOUT No-Limit Hold’em attracted some big names into a field of 1,534 entries.
Daniel Negreanu, Landon Tice, and Erik Lindgren were all in the mix last night. As was Espen Jorstad, the 2022 WSOP Main Event champion.
60 players remain and Day 2 will begin at 1.00 pm local time.
Sean Winter Leads $10K PLO Hi/Lo Championship Event
The latest big buy-in tournament to start is Event #24: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Eights or better Championship (8-handed).
224 players arrived for Day 1 with a current prize pool of $2,083,200 up for grabs.
Sean Winter is currently in pole position and will likely pass the $30 million mark for career earnings by the end of this event.
One notable player who sits 8th in the chip counts is James Obst, a former online crusher who used to be ranked third on the PocketFives leaderboard.
Ben Lamb and Shaun Deeb are hanging on with small stacks but there’s still a long way to go. Daniel Negreanu failed to make Day 2.
