The reigning WSOP Ladies Event champion Lara Eisenberg and other WSOP players has been evicted from her hotel room after testing positive for COVID-19. The American was forced to travel while infectious rather than being allowed to quarantine in her room alone.
Lara Eisenberg Evicted from Hotel After Testing Positive for COVID
WSOP tip of the day: If you test + for COVID & are trying to be responsible & stay in your room for the 5 days, be sure the hotel doesn’t get wind of it or you get evicted.

It hasn’t been confirmed which resort Eisenberg was staying at prior to her eviction but we know for a fact that this is not a blanket policy in the city.
Phil Hellmuth was allowed to quarantine in his suite at the Aria after testing positive without any interference from hotel staff.
Just tested positive for Covid. Thought maybe I was immune (neither of my sons got it, nor did my Mom)…Good news: no cough. Not hungry all day! Mind is a little foggy as I slept “17 awful hours.” I feel like my best chance for a bracelet was todays @WSOP $10,000 Omaha 8/B, sigh pic.twitter.com/nAe2WSf4H8

Eisenberg tweeted that she was offered a room at a budget hotel off The Strip but refused, calling on the help of a local friend.
They offer to take you to a budget hotel off strip at their expense so I think they cya that way but makes no sense medically if you are a single occupant quarantining in place

Poker Twitter kicked up a bit of a storm over this wsop players eviction policy with many, including Ike Haxton, surprised that it is even legal.
What is the difference between a guest quarantining on The Strip or off it? It’s clear that whichever resort Eisenberg was staying at is thinking of potential lost profits with an outbreak over the risks of sending an infectious person out in public.
