More than €15 million in guaranteed prizemoney will be on the line at this year’s WSOP Europe, with Leon Tsoukernik’s King’s Casino in Rozvadov once again playing host to 15 bracelet events over 22 days of poker action.

This week’s announcement by the World Series of Poker confirmed the dates as September 18th to October 9th, a full month earlier than previous years, with the flagship WSOP Europe Main Event NHL European Championship boasting a €5 million guarantee.
With a €10,350 buy-in, players will be looking to replicate Max Neugebauer’s from last November, when he fought off Eric Tsai heads-up to scoop the €1,500,000 first-place prize and coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
Numbers will be boosted by an expected 400 or more satellite winners on day 1A, October 4th, all setting off on a hopeful 6-day journey to the final table.
The Main Event isn’t the only game in town, with another five €1 million+ GTD events on the schedule, with buy-ins ranging from the readily affordable €350 to a monster €50,000.
That latter buy-in belongs to the NLH Diamond High Roller, which kicks off the day before the Main Event, while the former is the NLH Opener, a 6-day tournament to get the WSOP Series off-and-running.
The NLH Mini Main at a €1,350 buy-in and the €550 Colossus also promise 7-figure prizepools, at €1.5 million apiece the biggest GTD events.
The sixth €1 million+ guarantee appears in the €25,000 NLH GGMillion$ tournament, run in conjunction with the WSOP’s international online partner, GGPoker. Last year’s version of this SHR event was won by Daniel Dvoress, picking up €600,000 for the win.
Sandwiched in between this sextet of monster tournaments are another nine gold bracelets: PLO 8-max, €2k and €5k PLO, a €1k Mystery Bounty, 8-game Mix, NLH 6-max, €1k Turbo Freezeout and €1100 Bounty Hunter, and the €550 NLH Closer.
