The money bubble burst in the Seniors Championship and Frankenstein was among those to cash – Jennifer Frankenstein that is, who joined her husband, Brian Harris, in the money, with 2004 Main Event winner Greg “Fossilman” Raymer also in the mix.

Event #46: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship

Nathan Henry leads the way, but not in age, that impressive win going to 94-years-young Sam Kobrinsky, who claims Jack Daniels is the secret to his longevity!

Some 208 players will be back for day 3 from the initial 7954 entries, including 2004 Main Event champ Greg “Fossilman” Raymer, but Sammy Farha (564th for $2,474) and Mike Matusow (894th for $2,000) both fell.

Event #51: $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em

It took only 16 hours to slash 2110 entries down to a winner in the $1500 Super Turbo Bounty and it was Peter Park who emerged triumphant for his first WSOP gold and $240,724.

Park gave up full-time poker a while back but still plays online and the occasional live tournament. He’ll be glad he came to Vegas after picking up his best-ever cash and a piece of history.

Event #45: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship (8-Handed)

A fifth day will be required to sort out the destination of the $10k H.O.R.S.E. title, with Mike Leah and Maksim Pisarenko now heads-up. Benny Glaser, Steve Zolotow and Lawrence Barndt all bowed out on day 4.

Maxx Coleman is the only previous bracelet winner left in the $3k Freezeout after 188 players were reduced to just 13 last night, ben Hoy leading the chip counts.

The $10k Razz Championship may not have huge prizemoney on offer, a mere $282k up top, but bragging rights saw some of the world’s best battle for supremacy.

Brandon Shack-Harris leads the final 12 but he is being chased by a host of big names, Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey among them, though both are short-satcked.

Event #52: $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em (6-Handed)

Some 700 entries appeared on day 1 of the $5k 6-handed NLH bracelet event, with Joao Viera, Shannon Shorr, 2015 WSOP Main Event champ Joe McKeehen and Jeremy Ausmus among those to advance.

There was no such luck for Bill Klein, Chance Kornuth, Maria Konnikova, Erik Seidel or Freddy Deeb, however, all falling at the first hurdle. Frenchman Julien Sitbon holds the chip lead with late reg and reentries still open.

The prizepool topped $1million as 379 entries came in for the 9-Game Mix, Brian Micon and Brian Rast to the fore in the chase for the $215,982 first prize.

137 players remain, including 2021 WSOP main Event champ, Koray Aldemir, Tom Schneider, Jeff Madsen and Maria Ho, while those who fell include Josh Arieh and Scotty Nguyen.
