Hector Berry took down Event #62: $600 PokerNews Deepstack Championship for a $282,876 prize and his first bracelet.
And Mark Checkwicz outlasted his opponents in the inaugural Event #65: $5,000 Seniors High Roller No-Limit Hold’em which saw an impressive field of 680 entries.
David Benyamine Out in 9th in $10K PLO
Event #66: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship has whittled a field of 811 down to 5 after three days of competition.
France’s David Benyamine was on course to challenge for his second bracelet but could do no better than eighth place for a $130,748 prize.
Joshua Adkins leads the way with almost three times as many chips as his closest rival.

Jamie Gold Returns to Support Veterans
Event #67: $500 Salute to Warriors kicked off with a whopping 4,517 entries registering for Day 1.
$40 from each entry is earmarked as a donation for United Service Organisations and other American veterans organisations.
Jamie Gold was one of the 678 players to survive the day, bagging up almost 50 big blinds at the end of play.
Nacho Barbero Leads $2,500 NL
Argentina’s Nacho Barbero is positioned to make a run for his second WSOP bracelet, leading the way in Event #68: $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em.
Barbero tops the remaining 23 players with almost 100 big blinds in his stack, but a cluster of former bracelet winners will be determined to stop him.

Eli Elezra Still in the Mix for Six
Seventeen players will return tomorrow for Day 3 of Event #69: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better, with Israel’s Eli Elezra hoping he can challenge for his sixth bracelet.
Day 2 saw 157 players return to see who would be bagging one of 92 prizes on offer. Patrick Leonard and Brian Hastings were two of the big names who were eliminated before the money bubble broke.
Venezuelan Christian Roberts has a reasonable lead with 2,380,000 chips to the 1,730,000 of Jon Turner in second place.
Colossus See Monster Field on Day 1a
Event #70: $400 Colossus is one of those events anybody can play. The modest buy-in allows small stakes players to have a go while the massive field guarantees big prizes for high-stakes players.
Day 1a saw 4,643 entries, including Poker Hall of Fame member Tom McEvoy and Ari Engel. Two more Day 1 starting flights are currently scheduled.
Ladies Championship Close to Record Field
Irene Carey heads the field of Event #71: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold’em after 1,245 entries came ever so close to beating last year’s record of 1,295.
At the end of the day, 309 players remained in with a shout with a few notable names hanging on in there.
ACR Poker ambassador Ebony Kenney has around 25 big blinds and Kathy Liebert bagged up around 50.

Event #72: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship saw only 129 entries, being one of the more esoteric poker variants and a big buy-in to boot.
Japan’s Naoya Kihara leads the field of 47 players remaining in the event with an all-star top 10 guaranteeing fireworks tomorrow.
Shaun Deeb and Alex Foxen are both in the top 10, with Robert Mizrachi, Erik Seidel, Dario Sammartino, and Nick Schulman all still holding plenty of chips.
