The best events of the 2017 WSOP:

Event #5: $565 THE COLOSSUS III

The first two editions of THE COLOSSUS were the two biggest poker tournament in history. In 2015 an unbelivable 22,374 players from 98 countries made THE COLOSSUS I the biggest poker tournament of all time!

Last year this huge success was repeated with 21,613 entries. Winner Benjamin Keeline took home the 1 Million Dollar first prize.

Nowhere else you can play with a small buy-in of only $565 for a massive prize pool of 1 Million Dollar, so don’t miss this unique event!

Event # 11: $111,111 The High Roller for One Drop

The Little One for One Drop is the most expensive and one of the most prestigious events.

Definitely not the biggest value, but one of the absolute highlights as the best tournament players gather here to compete for glory and millions of dollars.

2016 WSOP74 events  are taking place in the Amazon Room – We tell you which are the best of them and why.

Event #19: $365 THE GIANT

After the huge success of the Colossus and low-buy-in poker tournaments in recent years, the WSOP has reacted and added another one to the schedule.

THE GIANT is the cheapest tournament at this year’s WSOP and will for sure attract masses as you have the chance to play with a small buy-in for a huge prize pool.

Event #20: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Millionaire Maker

The next chance to become a Millionaire with a small buy-in is on the 11th of June. On this day, the $1,500 Millionaire Maker kicks off.

It is a single re-entry event, which attracted 7,190 players last year. Jason Dewitt won the event in 2016 for $1,065,403.

Event #47: $1,500 MONSTER Stack No-Limit Hold’em

Deep stack poker at its finest with 15,000 chips and 60 minutes levels for a very reasonable buy-in of $1,500 offers the MONSTER Stack.

In other words, this tournament has one of the best price-performance ratio of the 2017 WSOP!

Event #62: $50,000 Poker Players Championship (6-handed)

This bracelet is the most prestigious and respected among poker players.

8-Game: Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball, Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha High/Low, Limit Razz, Limit Seven Card Stud, Limit Seven Card Stud High/Low, No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha is played in the above order.

You have to play all games well in order to stand a chance, which makes this event the most difficult to win. Last year Brian “tsarrast” Rast won the Chip Reese Trophy plus 1.296.097 for the second time.

Event #73: $10,000 MAIN EVENT No-Limit Hold’em World Championship

The Main Event is and always will be the absolute highlight of the World Series of Poker. Every poker player dreams of making it to the final table of the tournaments of all tournaments. In addition to that, it is one of the softest 10k buy-in tournaments with heaps of recreational players.

6,737 players fulfilled their dream in 2015 and produced a massive prize pool of $63,327,800 with $8,000,000 for the winner! Amateur Qui Nguyen (USA) sensationally won and became the new World Champion.
