While the rest of the poker world continues to treat Ali Imsirovic and Jake Schindler as pariahs for their cheating, the World Series of Poker appears to be welcoming them with open arms…

The dastardly duo, the highest profile known cheats in the modern game, were not only banned from GGPoker for RTA use, but subsequently declared persona non grata by major live tours.
As well as an online bans, Imsirovic and Schindler are not welcome at PokerGO Tour, Triton Poker, EPT, WPT and various other tours.
A PokerGO statement issued last year read: “The PokerGO Tour (PGT) today announced the indefinite suspensions of Ali Imsirovic and Jake Schindler from tour play, effective immediately.”
It continued: “The suspensions will extend through at least the 2022 PGT season, upon which time a review will take place.” That ban appears to have been continued for 2023 as neither Imsirovic nor Schindler have played this season.
The joint online and live ban does not include the WSOP, however, with Jake Schindler not only bagging a bracelet last summer but also running deep in this year’s event already.
Schindler finished 9th in the $25k Buy-in SHR event #2 on this year’s schedule, a $104,733 cash, though it certainly didn’t go unmentioned…

With Imsirovic’s account now showing up in the WSOP online events, it once again begs the question why the WSOP organisers haven’t also banned the pair?
Come on @WSOPcom – sort your sh*t out. Guy is banned from by biggest online and live operators but can play in all your events. Beyond dumb pic.twitter.com/zE9acgQJCw

It’s not even a month since Americas CardRoom boss, Phil Nagy, put a $100,000 bounty to prove that Ali Imsirovic is running an online cheating ring.
I will go on record I am in the Triton 200k blinding off reading this. I will offer a 100k reward for proof of this I take security seriously however there is no-one that is perfect. Help me Help you if you can. (excuse grammar Im under some pressure here) https://t.co/8Kz4AtYL8X

This came about after claims that the Bosnian-US pro was continuing his online cheating and potentially recruiting others.
Matt Berkey stated recently:
“What we have been hearing through back-channels is he has many, many, many accounts – he has been multi-accounting on many sites, most notably ACR. He has stayed in action and his stable is only growing in size.”
The World Series of Poker, however, have yet to issue even the most basic statement on the matter and it appears that they have decided that all business is good business.
If that changes, we’ll be sure to let you know, but for the time being it appears to be WSOP policy that cheats are allowed to play.
