They seek him here, they seek him there, they seek Ryusuke everywhere! Poker’s version of the Scarlet Pimpernel – Ryusuke Daifuku – who disappeared owing $15,000,000, has been sighted all over the globe.
Worlds most wanted poker scammer Ryusuke was spotted playing 5/10 NLH in SIHANOUKVILLE Cambodia. This guy Ryusuke owes @nikairball 160k & not to mention all the other people he owes. pic.twitter.com/kw70S4DQ6x

Described as “Hustler Casino Live’s biggest scammer”, Ryusuke is said to have not only taken some of the HCL regs crew for an expensive ride, but also owes $millions more in Japan and elsewhere.
Full name Ryusuke Daifuku, the Japanese pro (pictured below with Veronica Brill) seems to have made a habit of skipping town after running up huge debts.
He won $684,000 over his 12-week-run in the HCL highstakes cash games, including an appearance in the infamous Adelstein/Lew ‘cheating’ incident.
However, off-camera he is said to have borrowed huge sums, which he has failed to repay.
Nik Airball recently claimed during an HCL livestream: “He’s a scammer!” and that he is owed 6-figures.
“Ryusuke owes about $½million to me and several other people locally,” claimed Airball, who recently lost $1million to Matt Berkey in his highstakes Grudge Match.
“He’s gone silent, he owes money in Japan, hasn’t responded in months and is gone. Like, verified, he’s a scammer, he owes me $160,000 personally. It’s unfortunate … such a nice guy I thought.”
Snapped playing $5/$10 in Sihanoukville, Cambodia (according to our lead tweet) the elusive scammer has also been spotted in various other towns and cities across the world…
I have heard multiple rumors of Ryuske being in Florida and playing poker.
If anyone could put me in touch with him would appreciate it.

However, a Twitter account claiming to be Ryusuke and replaying to Polk: “I’m not in Florida. I’m taking break from everything to get affairs in order. I already talk to those who I need to,” turned out to be a fake.
Poker Twitter was rife with claims that the scamster owes 6-figure sums in other private games in California, and may have been wagering huge bets on sports.
If rumours that he owes an alleged $15million in total, the real Ryusuke is unlikely to come out of hiding in Cambodia, or elsewhere, anytime soon…
