“WhatIfGod” Makes Poker History by Winning EPT Online Main Event back-to-back!

“WhatIfGod” has done the incredible! He just won the EPT Online Main Event back-to-back by defeating PokerStars pro Ramon Colillas heads-up to take home the $363,641 first place prize. Watch the final table in full-length below!

The 9-handed final table was one of the strongest we saw in recent years as it featured online legends Benjamin “bencb789” Rolle, Daniel “Oxota” Dvoress, Christian “WATnlos” Rudolph and Bruno “great dant” Volkmann.

Brazil was once again the most represented country at the final table with Eduardo “Eduardo850” Silva, Bruno “great dant” Volkmann and Pedro “pvigar” Garagnani all making it to the Grand Finale.

“WhatIfGod”, who won the same tournament in 2020 for $1,019,082, took control right from the start.

First he send Raise Your Edge founder bencb789 with Pocket Fours against Ben’s Ace-Queen to the rail and soon after he also busted Brazilian online crusher Bruno “great dant” Volkmann.

Two of his toughest opponents were already out of the way, but “WhatIfGod” was not done yet.

With three players left, the Swede called the All-in of German high stakes legend Christian “WATnlos” holding  {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

No help from the board and we were heads-up for the title with the chance to become the first poker player ever to win back-to-back EPT Online  Main Event titles.

“WhatifGod” entered the heads-up as chip leader, but PokerStars Ambassador Ramon Colillas was not done yet. An epic battle emerged, with the lead going back and forth.

The heads-up lasted more than two hours before the final hand was dealt.

On a board of {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} {k-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}  Collilas bet 5,200,000 and “WhatIfGod” raised all-in. Colillas went deep into the tank, but ultimately called it off with {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} just to get shown the rivered flush with {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

“WhatifGod” was the winner of the EPT Online 2021 Main Event and secured his entry in the poker history books for being the first player, who won back-to-back EPT Online Main Events.
