Twitter poker fight between Shaun Deeb vs. David “Viffer” Peat over alleged $32,000 debt

Who is David “Viffer” Peat?

A severe Twitter poker fight broke out between Shaun Deeb and David “Viffer” Peat over an alleged debt of $32,000, which resulted in a massive $100,000 bet.

David “Viffer” Peat is a high stakes cash game player, who appeared on several episodes of Poker TV show Poker After Dark, where he stood his ground against absolute legends of the game such as Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius or Tom “durrrr” Dwan:

Now Viffer is making news by being part of the latest Twitter poker fight against Shaun Deeb.

The fight broke out after Deeb tweeted about what COVID-19 did to his body after he contracted the virus and Viffer commented on it:

“Would prefer people just pay the debts to me like from you”

Shaun was not amused about Viffer’s  comment and a raging Deeb replied:

Deeb refers to an old $32,000 debt, which he claims Peat is owing him since seven years. Shaun claims he bought out Viffer’s debt from an undisclosed individual for $32,000. “Viffer” disputes that claim and doubled down on his offer — his $100,000 to Deeb’s $50,000.

Viffer offers Deeb a 2 to 1 bet worth $100,000 to Shaun’s $50,000

Viffer is heavily denying that and offered to settle the dispute with a bet: His $100,000 to Shaun’s $50,000.

“What drugs you on now Viffer?”

After the offer Shaun Deeb flipped and started to insult Peat and calling him names:

“Listen you idiot you admitted many times to Jrb and myself you owed and we’re just being a dick you keep trying to save face publicly but guess what your rep isn’t great anymore. So pay up what you owe it’s that simple be a man again. Wait a poker cheat what drugs you on now Viffer I missed that first time around please share one case of me cheating bud”

Shaun Deeb is referring to Viffer having to do rehab after landing in hospital due to an overdose of cocaine and ecstasy.

Shaun Deeb accepts the bet by requesting an arbitrator

After going back and forth Shaun Deeb finally accepted Peat’s 2 to 1 bet with the precondition of bringing in an arbitrator and that Viffer has to post his $100,000 first and then he’ll post his $50,000.

Shaun proposed Matt Glantz as arbitrator, but Glantz was not interested. Other suggestion included Billy Baxter, Ben Lamb and Jean-Robert Bellande.

As of today it is unknown, if they have found an arbitrator, so please make sure to check back regularly at VIP-Grinders.com as we will post an update as soon as there are any news.
