Tony G, one of poker’s most notorious table trash talkers, tweeted out an image that certainly scores some poker clout points for him.
In it, he can be seen with two of the biggest legends in the history of poker, Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan, as well as Triton Poker boss Paul Phua.
About to board Paul’s jet. Going direct to Vilnius to play some poker. Plan is to play 5+ short deck on the jet.@philivey @paulphuapoker @TomDwan pic.twitter.com/TYB1NR25ZA

Tony G Featured in Heavy Line-Up on Way to Lithuania
Antanas Gouga, aka Tony G has just appeared on Triton Poker’s super high stakes cash game. The game took place in Montenegro, with €2,000/€4,000/€4,000 (!) blinds.
The Lithuanian poker pro and former Member of European Parliament for his country must have enjoyed his company very much at the table, as he invited some of them to his home country.
That “some” includes Phil Ivey. Ivey lately has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. His never-ending legal battle with Borgata about his edge-sorting case always gets ample media attention. His subsequent financial troubles received some coverage as well.
Probably that’s the reason why he didn’t actually play in Triton’s nosebleed stakes cash game. In the past, however, he didn’t shy away from Paul Phua’s crazy games. In May 2018, he appeared on the Triton €1 million cash game in Montenegro.
According to Tony G’s caption, “the gang” is travelling to the capital city of Lithuania, Vilnius, to play some poker.
But they don’t have to wait till they get there to play some cards. While they are flying on Paul Phua’s private yet, they plan to play 5+ short deck Hold’em, as opposed to the commonly played 6+ Hold’em. So, for some reason, they decided to include the four 6’s as well, giving them a 40-card deck to play with.
The phrase “the cards are in the air” will take on a literal meaning for these four.
WSOP Main Event Champion Also Invited
Although the line-up on Tony G’s Twitter pic is star-studded enough, it could have been even more impressive.
Although they have a 10-time WSOP bracelet winner in Phil Ivey, none of the gentlemen above have ever won poker’s most coveted title, the WSOP Main Event.
However, if we scroll down a bit to the replies, we can spot 2018 Main Event champion John Cynn.
Thanks for the invite!

He thanked Tony G and his friends for the invite to Lithuania. However, he unfortunately couldn’t make it.
