Tom Dwan haslost his highstakes argument with Peter Jetten, the Canadian pro tweeting out that arbitration had favoured him in their highstakes dispute.
As expected @tomdwan lost in arbitration and this has finally been resolved
Seems like this sponsorship deal is helping him with his insolvency
Good luck to everyone else he owes money to. Hopefully you guys get paid eventually

The Background of the Peter Jetten vs. Tom Dwan Feud
The Jetten/Dwan feud erupted publicly back in February when Peter Jetten warned the poker community about Dwan’s unwillingness to pay his debts.
“Would caution against doing business with Tom Dwan. He’s owed me 226k for 4 years and continues to use delay tactics to avoid payment. He says he’ll pay next week, next Triton Poker stop, etc. but never does.”
Dwan not paying what he owes was hardly news to the poker community, given the longstanding “Durrrr Challenge” dispute with Dan “Jungleman” Cates.
However, Cates was one of the few to show support for his old foe “Durrrr” when Jetten outed Dwan. Others – Cole South, Haralabob Voulgaris and Jesse May among them – sided with Peter Jetten.
May stated: “In the world of high stakes character and credibility, Durrrr is at rock bottom.
Who owes who what and why?
The Jetten/Dwan disagreement dates back to when Dwan was staking Jetten in highstakes tournaments, with Ike Haxton also putting up stake money for Jetten.
Unfortunately for them, Jetten’s best results seem to have come in events they didn’t have a piece of, the Canadian hitting $1.6million of make-up.
In a separate deal, however, Jetten claimed that Dwan owed him close to $250k and was refusing to pay up. Some $30k was eventually forthcoming from Dwan, but he was resisting efforts to persuade him to pay the balance.
There were a bunch of times I told you that u weren’t being fair.
2 of the last ones, you said you didn’t care to hear others opinions or arbitrate, and would let the public decide.
You know I don’t have our old texts and wouldn’t send me even to support your story.

The details of the staking deal and ‘who owes who what’ were confusing to many, but Jetten sought to clarify he was in fact a huge winning player over the piece.
Jetten added: “I was net up millions playing poker over the course of our deal. Look at the Triton results Letting Tom influence your opinion on absolutely anything would be a mistake.”
Does Dwan owe $30million?
That was Doug Polk’s view too, it seemed, when he revealed that Dwan may owe a staggering $30million, with Jetten’s $250kand Voulgaris’ $350k debts minor issues.
“Maybe the people with the bigger balances are people you would really want to make sure get paid. The smaller ones might tweet about you, but the big ones might not!” said Polk.
If that number seems fanciful, remember that for many years Dwan was playing nosebleed cash games in Macau, apparently backed by Paul Phua. With stakes as high as $10k/$20k, or even more, pots reaching $10-$20million were not unheard of.
The Jetten/Dwan Arbitration
Dwan finally agreed to arbitration last month, by that time Dwan’s debt down to $96,000, and a gleeful Peter Jetten tweeting out what he saw as great news.
Details of the arbitration process and result are sketchy, limited for now to Jetten’s claims that he won, and the intimation that Dwan has therefore paid up what he owes through the escrow process.
Tom has agreed to escrow the money and go to arbitration!
Thanks everyone for the support

Peter Jetten’s tweet infers that the ACR sponsorship deal Dwan recently signed has allowed him to start repaying what he owes, and hopes that others will get their money too, though that remains to be seen.
