Sergi “srxakgirona” Reixach alleges death threats from Bryn Kenney accuser Martin Zamani

Sergi “srxakgirona” Reixach, one of the highstakes pros at the centre of cheating allegations this week, has hit back by claiming he has received “violent threats” from the main accuser Martin Zamani.

Martin Zamani aimed multiple cheating allegations at Bryn Kenney in a series of tweets last week, following them up with further revelations in an interview with Doug Polk.

Spanish pro Sergi Reixach was named by Zamani as one of the coaches in Kenney’s poker stable who players were to call on for ghosting when they reached a final table.

Reixach admits to helping Zamani out in a WSOP online final table, played on GGPoker.

“As you can see, it’s true that I helped him at that WSOP (Online) final table,” says Reixach, referring to the screenshotted conversation below.

Reixach added: “…I went to his place to help him with the final table and use the opportunity to give him some advice about how to play final tables. Things didn’t go well, and we busted in the third or fourth hand.”

That “help” left Zamani raging at his coach, although the language he uses is unforgiveable. Reixach, however, feels that it puts an entirely different slant on the cheating allegations.

“I feel he blames me for everything wrong in his life,” he says of Martin Zamani, adding, “…his level of hate toward me has reached a point where I have been receiving death threats from him for the last few months.”

However, Reixach refutes most of the claims made by Zamani, which included ghosting, collusion and RTA use.

“The accusations of a ghosting scheme are completely false,” states Reixach, and describes allegations that he used an “RTA system device,” as “not true”.

Kahle Burns also questioned that part of Zamani’s claims, unable to reconcile the RTA angle with what happened in his games with Reixach…

Sergi Reixach admits to being banned by GGPoker, but claims it was for using “illegal preflop charts”, and used as a defence “the line where those preflop charts became illegal/unethical is not that clear and also moves from one year to another or from one site to another.”

To many poker Twitter fans this was an unacceptable “everyone is doing it so why shouldn’t I” defence, and there were those with even more questions for Reixach.

Poker commentator Henry Kilbane tweeted:

“Devils advocate, so hear me out – Brewer & Schindler got banned for use of preflop charts on GG but never had money confiscated. Why was your punishment for “use of preflop charts” more extreme than there’s and you had money confiscated?”

The reply begged another question…

Reixach also refutes claims that there was some sort of network of Spanish pros colluding and chip-dumping in highstakes MTTS: “That accusation is completely false, and there’s not a single proof or clue that could make anyone think that happened.”

He finishes off his lengthy defence by saying: “In hindsight, I know I made some mistakes and should act differently. But it is more than clear that Martin is throwing false accusations at me.”

In the meantime, Zamani’s main accusations against Bryn Kenney were being backed up by one of his alleged “victims”, Lauren Roberts.

Roberts is said to have lost $2million while being backed by Kenney, but Zamani claims that Kenney was in fact instructing all his horses to play against her.

Roberts described Bryn Kenney as “abusive”, sharing screenshots of an argument they had over the supposed $2million debt. She also claimed to have “witnessed ghosting, collusion with other accounts too”.

Kenney finally took to Twitter himself, stating there was “zero evidence” and promising to give his own version of events…
