Sean Perry not to be trusted says Shaun Deeb amid $1,000,000 Superbowl Bet Claim

Sean Perry, the former high stakes poker pro and son of WSOP bracelet winner Ralph Perry, is “not to be trusted” as claims of his new life as a $multi-million-winning sportsbettor were ridiculed by those in the business.

Perry junior, who has tournament earnings of almost $7million, was the subject of a recent WPT article focusing on his claims to be betting and winning $millions every day on sports.

Sean Perry: “I’m up against everyone. I’m the best.”

Sean Perry says he has made “unlimited money” from his move to sportsbetting, stating:

“I’m up against everyone. I’m the best. I tell everyone, stop gambling against me. You’re gonna keep losing. I’m bashing. I beat all the pros. I beat the billionaires. I beat whoever.”

As if to back that up, Perry posted his supposed $1.1million SuperBowl bet from which he stands to win $1million, though Allen Kessler for one couldn’t work out who he was backing…

However, insiders believe Perry is a out as trustworthy in sportsbetting – he charges heavily for sharing his picks – as he was in the poker world.

Legendary gambler Hong Kong Tom Hall described Perry as a “muppet” and as “sharp as a bowling ball”,

Commenating his claims with: “I have lost count over the past 25 years of these self-promoting clowns claiming all sorts of rubbish. Not one of them remains today.”

His shift from poker to the world of professional sportsbetting happened recently.

Perry told WPT’s David Hill: “I actually kind of completely stopped playing poker because I was making so much money in sports because I could bet so much bigger … I got so successful that even these private games were just too small.”

As well as the private games, Perry bagged some notable poker wins, including a $640,000 victory at the 2022 PokerGO Cup and several other 6-figure cashes.

The real reason for his shift, though, may well be much shadier, Perry accused of scamming fellow poker players on multiple occasions, including this DFS accusation from Dan Colman…

Shaun Deeb: “He is not trustworthy for money”

Shaun Deeb is also on record as stating: “He’s not trustworthy for money. There are some people who have told me stories of Sean stiffing them for over seven figures.”

Sean Perry not to be trusted says Shaun Deeb amid $1,000,000 Superbowl Bet Win

Deeb added: “… I just think he has no morals, has no ethics, and he cares about a dollar more than his reputation.”

Sean Perry, however, is as arrogant about his haters as he is about his own skill at sportsbetting, stating:

“I love it. It’s what gets me going. I love having haters… No one’s gonna hate the broke loser that’s not doing anything.”

That arrogance cost him a huge payday recently when he refused to accept a chop worth $400,000 in the Survivor NFL contest at Circa sportsbook in Las Vegas.

Instead, he asked for $1.2million but lost the lot when he failed to win the $9million on offer to the winner.

The poker world may have seen the back of Sean Perry, for now at least, but it looks like the sportsbetting world may be stuck with him – especially if his SuperBowl bet comes in.

If it really exists that is… after all, Photoshop can work wonders nowadays…
