Robbi Jade Lew aimed a massive troll at Garrett Adelstein after picking up her first tournament victory since their alleged cheating case – her winning pick showing the infamous J4 that sparked a year of debate.

Lew picked up just over $11,000 for her victory in a $500 one-day 8-max NLH event at the WPT Thunder Valley stop in Lincoln, California. The final hand saw her get it in good against Barry Birdwell…
Lew: A♠ J♠
Birdwell: K♦ J♥
Flop: 3♦ 8♥ 3♠
Turn: Q♠
Flushed with success, Lew posed for her winner’s photo… but, yes, the hand in Drew Amato’s pic does look somewhat different from her actual A♠ J♠ winning hand.
That’s because Lew decided to poke some fun at the expense of Adelstein, who refused to believe he wasn’t cheated by Robbi Jade when she called off $109,000 with just jack-high, catching Adelstein out in a massive bluff on Hustler Casino Live in the fall of 2022.

Clearly neither Lew nor Amato could recall the exact suits (it was J♣ 4♥ in the original) but as she explained later to journalist Jon Sofen: “I just kind of did that for fun.”
Robbi Jade expanded: “Jack-four is always going to follow me. At first I was a little annoyed about it, but now I just embrace it. It’s to the point where I think it makes people happy when they confront me, but no one’s going to come to me unless they’re excited about it.”
Robbi Jade Lew vs. Garrett Adelstein
Quite what Adelstein will make of the joke remains to be seen, but the one-time mainstay of televised cash game poker has rarely been seen at the tables since the Lew debacle.
Claims, counterclaims, threats, investigations, thefts, lawsuits and all manner of incredible incidents followed the most-talked about hand of 2022. Lew, in fact, returned the full $135k turn bet to Adelstein in the hope he would continue playing on the stream but to no avail.
Adelstein described Robbi Jade Lew as a “con-artist” and stated: “I am extremely confident I was cheated in this hand.”
Though clearly not the most experienced of players at the time, Lew did in fact have multiple cashes at the time, having started taking the game seriously during lockdown.
That included a $20k scoop of the $2200 buy-in, 100-player WPT GetEvenSurvivor tournament one month before the HCL hand that rocked the poker world.
Lew said of her win this week: “There’s two things that have to happen when winning tournaments — you have to play well and run well.”
