GGPoker has announced the scheduling of qualifiers for the WSOP International Circuit in Rosario, Argentina. This event will be the first time in seven years that the WSOP Circuit heads to the South American nation.
At the beginning of August, a joint press release announced the sale of the WSOP brand from Caesars Entertainment to NSUS Group, the parent company of GGPoker.
The $500 million sale is guaranteed to make WSOP events truly international, and the return to Argentina is just one of the first steps.
12 WSOP Circuit Gold Rings
The WSOPC event in Rosario, Argentina will feature a $1,100 buy-in Main Event with no less than five Day 1 starting flights.
Other highlights of the series include:
- $500 Monster Stack Mystery Bounty
- $400 Uppercut Progressive Knockout
- $2,500 High Roller
In total, there will be 12 events running between October 17 to 25, with 12 gold rings up for grabs.

Sadly for most GGPoker players, the online qualifiers will only be available exclusively for those based in Latin America in a region where GGPokerservices are available.

Periodically, $125 Mega Satellites will run with a number of guaranteed seats up for grabs, but there is also a Steps system in place.
Those players who wish to try and qualify for the WSOPC Rosario can enter a $1 Step which pays out a seat to a $15 Step that guarantees an entry to the $125 Mega.
WSOP History in Argentina
The last time the WSOP brand made its way to Argentina was all the way back in August 2017.
The venue was the plush Casino Iguazú where six ring events were featured, including an impressive turnout of 934 for the $1,000 Main Event.
Currently, Brazil and Uruguay have been the choice venues for WSOPC events, with five a piece.
But with plenty of qualifiers coming soon on GGPoker, we can be assured that the leading site will continue to expand its presence in the South American continent.
Party Time for WSOPC Rosario Players
To celebrate the return of the WSOP brand to Argentina, the organisers will be laying on an exclusive party for the players but seats and invitations will be limited.
