Premier poker streaming provider PokerGO has issued a statement clarifying it has no association with the newly introduced cryptocurrency, NGNFCoin.
The digital currency’s name closely mirrors “No Gamble, No Future,” a well-known PokerGO television show, leading to potential public confusion.
PokerGO appears to be far from happy at NGNFCoin’s founders allegedly trying to piggyback on the image of poker’s premium streaming platform.
In an announcement on X/Twitter, PokerGO stated:
“PokerGO has no involvement or affiliation with the recently launched cryptocurrency NGNFCoin. We have not authorized, endorsed, or partnered with NGNFCoin or its creators in any capacity. Any claims suggesting otherwise are false and misleading.”
The company added that it is exploring legal measures to prevent unauthorised use of its brand and to maintain its integrity.
They advised the public to seek accurate information through official channels or by contacting support@pokergo.com.
“No Gamble, No Future,” featuring hosts Jeff Platt and Brent Hanks, premiered in 2022 and is set to begin its fifth season next month.
In a tweet, PokerGO mentioned that anyone interested in actually playing on No Gamble, No Future can contact them and they will attempt to schedule a seat for them.
