The upper management at WPT Global has informed us about their recent decision to try a new approach with affiliates. This makes it impossible for affiliates and agents to plan, calculate, and offer extra rakeback or other promotions to players.
We hope this situation will change sooner rather than later. However, as we plan and manage our bookkeeping monthly, we must adapt to the new terms that will start on July 1st.
As a result, we won’t be able to pay any rakeback or run exclusive promotions for WPT Global players in July, and until further notice.
The WPT Global Chase won’t continue in July, but we will keep WPT Global players in our $5,000 Multi Race.
On a more positive note, WPT Global plans to add a VIP reward system to replace some of the rakeback, which is a welcome change among the latest news.
