Mario ‘YouPayMyF458’ Zwanzleitner found dead
Austrian poker pro and TwitchTV streamer Mario ‘YouPayMyF458’ Zwanzleitner has been found dead in Vienna. He is believed to have committed suicide after apparently murdering his girlfriend in a frenzied hammer attack.
Police were called by neighbors of the poker-playing DJ on Monday evening, following a weekend-long party in the Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung-Süd. It is a massive 14,000 inhabitants municipal housing community in the Favoriten district of Vienna.
There they discovered the door to a ground-floor apartment open, and inside the dead bodies of 33-year old Zwanzleitner and an as-yet-unnamed 30-year old female.
Although autopsies are yet to be carried out, a police spokesman reportedly stated that ‘the woman was killed by heavy blows to the head and upper body.’ A hammer found in the blood-stained apartment is believed to be the murder weapon.
The crime scene has been described as “complex” by the Vienna State Criminal Police Office. The door to the apartment believed to have been left open and accessible for some time.
A police spokesperson advised: “The investigation is going on in all directions. For the time being, it cannot be completely ruled out that other suspects may have participated in the scene of the incident.”
They added: “We do not yet know whether a third person was involved, or whether it is murder and subsequent suicide.”

Zwanzleitner also has online winnings of $26,734, according to pocketfives.com, the majority of that on PokerStars as ‘YouPayMyF458’.
He also has an old FullTilt account under the name ‘Preda7or’ showing less than $3000 winnings but had more success on the GGPoker network of late. Though unlisted, he picked up at least $20k in June with 4- and 5-figure cashes in the online APT Series.
Online he played on many of the major sites. He was streaming via his TwitchTV channel, which now appears to have been closed down.
His YouTube channel, however, is still up, the most recent video from a few months ago, featuring Zwanzleitner multitabling midstakes MTTs on Natural8.
Police in Vienna is still investigating and interviewing neighbors and possible witnesses to the double death. We will bring you updates as and when more information becomes available.
