Phil Hellmuth – The G.O.A.T. of Poker?
Tom Brady already won six Super Bowl rings before going up against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. After beating them, now has more rings than any player in NFL history after winning a seventh championship in Super Bowl LV.
Tom Brady now has more Super Bowl wins than all 32 NFL franchises.

Brady outpaced every single team in the NFL and has more Super Bowl titles than 19 teams in the NFL combined which is an absolutely ridiculous stat.
Furthermore, he also made it 10 times to the Super Bowl in his career – that is more than all except one franchise: the New England Patriots. He has accumulated a total of 34 postseason victories throughout his career – that is more than twice those of any other quarterback that has played in the league.
He is certainly the greatest player in NFL history in terms of success with an incredible record. Brady has been selected 199th overall in the 2000 NFL draft by the Patriots and is undoubtedly the biggest steal in NFL draft history.
Even though Brady is already 43 years old, there is no signing of him retiring anytime soon. While there have been many people doubting him, he never failed to prove them wrong.
After winning Super Bowl LV he already stated that he would continue his epic career next season.

Phil Hellmuth on the same level?
The Poker Ninjas came up with a brave comparison a couple of days ago. They put both records side by side and by comparing them directly it actually doesn’t seem unlike that Phil Hellmuth might in fact be the Tom Brady of poker.
Thanks for this @ThePokerNinjas, makes me feel like I have accomplished a few things along the way #PHNiceLife #POSITIVITY pic.twitter.com/Ln6hMwtY1u

He won 15 WSOP bracelets, made 57 WSOP final tables, and has 143 WSOP cashes. He’s been winning bracelets throughout his career which is already lasting 30 years, and it seems that he is not likely to stop anytime soon.
Hellmuth is definitely one of the most accomplished poker players of all time and has had a long-lasting career and won some of the most important WSOP bracelets.
I never said I’m anywhere close to @TomBrady level, but in poker (which is 1/10 the size of the @NFL) I’ve accomplished a lot #POSITIVITY https://t.co/dpeJlaa0Un

Nevertheless, there were plenty of other players who have been highly successful in the WSOP. There are three players with 10 bracelets (Phil Ivey, Johnny Chan, Doyle Brunson) and three players who have earned more in WSOP events than Hellmuth.
Even though Hellmuth managed to get ITM in 165 WSOP events (not 143x times as mentioned in the Poker Ninjas tweet), there are five players who had more cashes. Roland Israelashvili made it into the money 250 times which is more than anybody else.

Furthermore, the WSOP is certainly one of the most popular events in the world of poker, but it is just one part of the game. There are so many different aspects such as live cash games, online cash games, other poker tournaments, and therefore it is tough to pick a single G.O.A.T. in poker.
