The blinds are $100/$200/$400 with a $400 big blind ante. Both players are very deep and Nik Airball got buttonclickr covered.

Poker Hand of the Week Action

Preflop:

Buttonclickr raises from the button with 7♥7♦ to $1,900 and Bill Klein just calls from the small blind with 9♦9♣. Nik Airball looks at 5♣4♣ in the big blind and squeezes to $13,000. Both players call. Pot Size: $40,000

Flop:

The flop comes 3♦7♠6♣ and Nik Airball flops the Nuts, while buttonclickr flops Top Set!

You can’t make this shit up! Nik makes a standard 50% cbet, buttonclickr quickly calls and Bill Klein gets out of the way. Pot Size: $80,000

Turn:

The J♠ on the turn doesn’t change anything and Nik Airball checks. Buttonclickr bets $45,000 and Nik check-raises Henry All-In for $350,000. The Finn quickly calls and just like that we have the biggest pot in Hustler Casino Live history worth $870,000.

River:

They agree to run the river twice and buttonclickr needs the board to pair, but neither the K♠ nor the K♥ helps and Nik Airball wins a massive $870,000 pot.

Poker Hand of the Week Analysis

Nasty cooler for buttonclickr in the biggest pot of his poker career. Let’s go through it step by step.

The preflop raise from buttonclickr is standard, while Bill Klein’s call with Pocket Nines is very passive and I would prefer a 3-bet out of position. Nik Airball now is in an interesting spot with 54s, where he could either call or raise. Both is fine and since they are very deep he decides to take the more aggressive route. Both opponents call.

Then the dealer lays the sickest flop possible into the middle giving buttonclickr Top Set, but preflop aggressor Nik the Nuts! Bill checks, Nik makes a 50% continuation bet, Henri calls and Bill makes a good fold.

Heads-Up to a turn, which is basically a blank. Now Nik Airball sets a nice trap by checking and it works. Buttonclickr bets 56% pot and Nik makes a huge check-raise All-in for almost 3x pot. Puustinen quickly calls and just like that there is a whopping $870,000 in the pot.

They decide to run the river twice and Nik’s hand holds up to send buttonclickr to the rail.

Poker Hand of the Week Conclusion

Although this is a very bad cooler for buttonclickr, Nik does a great job in getting all of Henri’s 1,065 big blinds into the middle with the Nuts.

He achieves that by realizing that buttonclickr must have a very strong hand and therefore makes a huge check-raise All-in on the turn.

Can buttonclickr fold on the turn? The simple answer is no. 45 is pretty unlikely after the preflop action, so all what buttonclickr really has to be afraid of is a Set of Jacks. Given that he can’t fold here, although Nik is almost never bluffing when he chooses this line.
