He may claim to be the best poker player ever, but Phil Hellmuth’s latest record-breaking achievement was to land his biggest Personal Loss Record in a televised cash game at Hustler Casino Live.
Not only did the Poker Brat spew a $144k chunk of his riches on Hustler Casino Live, he then rage-quit Live at the Bike the following night.
Lost personal record (since 2012, roughly 33 sessions) in LIVESTREAM or televised poker: $144,500 on @HCLPokerShow. Tough day! But, game played BIG! Next 10 days: filming @LIVEattheBike 3 times starting tomorrow, and “No Gamble, No Future” twice. Plenty of time to recover!! pic.twitter.com/BJjEtNOJDH

Watch Phil Hellmuth’s Personal Loss Record here:
Hellmuth bought in to the $100/$200/$400 Hustler Casino Live cash game for a whopping $300,000, having been criticised for a Live at the Bike appearance where he brought a measly $20k to the highstakes table.
However, he may have been regretting that when things didn’t go his way, starting with a very strange hand that had the entire poker Twitter crowd, including Daniel Negreanu, scratching their heads…
Line of the night:
“He fell for it, but he flopped a set”

That $22,000 river call may have been Hellmuth’s attempt at a Robbi Jade Lew J-4 moment, although he later said he thought me had A-10, but it was the kind of mistake that heralded a painful evening.
Losing a $155k pot to DoorDash founder, Stanley Tang, with 10s against aces and seeing his kings cracked by Stanley Choi’s queens all added up to Phil’s biggest loss in 10 years – possibly closer to $160k than Phil’s $144k tweet.
Phil Hellmuth Rage Quits Live at the Bike after losing a $286K pot
Meanwhile, there was no rest for the wicked, as it was nose to the grindstone for Hellmuth, playing Live at the Bike the very next night alongside Robbi Jade Lew.
His plans to win back the 6-figure spew of the previous night didn’t quite go to plan, as this time-stamp comment on YouTube explains…
