Phil Hellmuth Gets Stacked Twice and Runs Out of the Poker Room at Hustler Casino Live

Phil Hellmuth had a horrible time on Hustler Casino Live. The Poker Brat got stacked twice in quick succession, quit the game and ran out of the poker room.

Phil Hellmuth Fires Two Bullets and Quits on Hustler Casino Live

The session started with controversy as Phil Hellmuth once again bought in for only $20,000 in the $100/$200 NL cash game. Everybody else at the amateur-filled table had more than $100,000 except one player.

Hellmuth has taken a lot of stick for playing short stacked against amateur opposition, but he seems to have settled in to take the criticism, preferring to play his favoured strategy.

Phil Hellmuth Times His Bluff Badly Against Nik Airball

It didn’t take long before Phil Hellmuth found himself in a spot of bother. An ill-timed bluff against Nik Airball saw the 16-time WSOP bracelet winner self-destruct for almost 150 big blinds.

Hellmuth opened with Ac9c and faced a three-bet from Nik Airball who had pocket queens. Not respecting the amateur, Hellmuth jammed and soon got the bad news.

Less than half an hour later, Hellmuth was in more trouble as his bluff detector senses failed him.

Up against Jungleman, the Poker Brat thought he sensed that a hero call was the way forward but once again he was shown the error of his ways.

After this debacle, Phil Hellmuth didn’t bother to rebuy and left the building before giving a short interview.

“That’s about as bad as I can play poker,” an honest and humble Hellmuth said. “I put in thirty-thousand with ace-nine of clubs against queens. Just a really bad play. So unlike me.”
