Star-Studded Line-Up on Poker After Dark
Poker After Dark went live again last night. They’re hosting the so-called GOAT (Greatest of All Time) week with some of poker’s biggest stars.
The line-up features some recreational players, such as actress Jennifer Tilly, British casino owner Rob Yong, NBA player Paul Pierce and Randal Emmett – fresh off of his debt scandal with rapper 50 Cent.
As for poker pros, they had online poker legend Tom “durrrr” Dwan in the mix. It’s somewhat of a surprise, since in September 2017 he failed to show up for the taping of an episode of PAD despite having been promoted for the show.
I’m going to be missing today’s poker after dark unfortunately. But i will be on tomorrow’s

Aside from Dwan, 15-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth and Mike Sexton were also back on Poker After Dark.
They were playing a session of $100/$200 No Limit Hold’em cash game, streamed live on PokerGO for your viewing pleasure.
Phil Hellmuth’s Crazy Last Two Hands
The last two hands of the night have been truly memorable.
First, Hellmuth got dealt AJ suited in the big blind. He 3-bet, the original raiser Alan Keating called with A9 off and Rob Yong came along as well, making a strategically questionable call with 94 suited.
The flop came A85, two spades. Hellmuth checked in the BB, Keating bet over half pot, Yong folded.
When the action got back to Hellmuth, he didn’t hesitate to move all-in with his remaining $28K stack for 2X pot. Keating, after some tanking, called.
The two agreed to run it twice. No help came for Alan Keating on either board, that $68K pot went Phil Hellmuth’s way.
However, unfortunately for Hellmuth, one last hand was still left to play that night.
This time, he got A5 of clubs in the small blind. Jennifer Tilly raised 64 of spades from the button, Hellmuth called, Keating 3-bet with K2 of diamonds from the UTG straddle.
The two men clashed again in a huge pot. The flop, with Tilly, Hellmuth and Keating still in play, fell J54 rainbow, one club, one diamond. Keating c-bet and got two callers.
Keating hit a King on the river – however, it was the King of clubs, so Hellmuth also improved to the nut flush draw. The pair of Kings bet again, Tilly folded.
Phil Hellmuth, just like in the last hand, decided to check-raise all-in again. Keating was put to another tough decision.
The “Poker Brat” may have given away a little too much with his speech play this time. He said “I think you have KJ, so I’m all in”.
Keating thought he wouldn’t have said that while going for a value-shove, so he called him again – correctly catching Hellmuth’s bluff.
The board was dealt twice. Hellmuth was the one who failed to improve this time. Keating got the best of it from the two hands by winning a nearly $150K pot.
This meant that in just two hands, the all time WSOP bracelet record holder managed to double up his stack then lose it all!
