Last night High Stakes Duel High Stakes Duel II Round 2 between Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu took place at the PokerGo Studio in Las Vegas.
After Phil Hellmuth victory in Round 1, there were $200.000 on the line and DNegs was looking for revenge.
Hellmuth starting strong, but Negreanu fights back
In contrary to their first match, Phil took command straight away, but then lost the chip lead and momentum to Daniel.
Hellmuth had to fight hard to keep, but once he managed to get back to even, Phil soon took the lead and never looked back.

Phil Hellmuth’s huge Triple Barrel Bluff was the key hand
The key hand of High Stakes Duel II Round 2 was a massive Triple-Barrel-Bluff by Phil Hellmuth with T2s!
On a board of Ks6s6d8d9s the Poker Brat fired three big shots and got Negreanu to lay down 9d7d and won a big pot.
After this hand, Hellmuth had an almost 3-1 chip lead and soon after he had DNegs All-In with Pocket Eights against Phil’s Ah4h.
Phil flopped a flush draw, but Daniel’s Snowmen were still in the lead until another Heart hit on the river to complete Phil’s flush and made him $200,000 richer.
