partypoker MILLIONS UK $25,500 Super High Roller Final Day Recap
17 players were left after Day 1 and their first goal was to reach the 5 paid places as the min-cash was a remarkable $75,000!
Day 1 chipleader Luke Reeves was the unlucky last player that left the tournament empty-handed after shoving short with Pocket fours and running into the Queens from Igor Kurganov.
Steve O’Dwyer, Preben Stokkan and Ben Heath followed him to the rails and we were Heads-up between Australian crusher Kahle Burns and high roller reg Igor Kurganov.
Kahle Burns vs Igor Kurganov Heads-Up
Igor started the Heads-Up with a sizeable 2.7 to 1 chiplead, but Kahle was quick to turn the tables after making a big bluff and winning several juicy pots.
He continued to grow his lead to more than 2 to 1 and in the final hand Kurganov limped from the button with Pocket Fours and Burns put him All-In with A-T and Igor quickly called.
Kahle Burns pulled a Barry Greenstein with the Ace on the river and wins the first big high roller tournament in 2020 for $350,000!
