Ian Matakis wins WSOPC Event #12: $800 Pot Limit Omaha Championship for $87,386
US pro Ian Matakis came out on top of a 669 entries strong field to win his first World Series of Poker Circuit Ring in Event #12: $800 Pot Limit Omaha Championship.
The tournament was a huge success as the $250,000 guarantee was more than doubled to $508,440.
This clearly shows that Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments are becoming more and more popular among poker players.
By far the biggest name on the final table was Scottish local hero Ludovic Geilich, who finished in a strong 3rd place for $45,682.
One on one Ian Matakis beat Slovakian player “Majki365” to secure his first WSOP Circuit Ring and a staggering $87,386, which is his second biggest score ever after finishing Runner-Up at the $20,000,000 GTD High Rollers Super MILLION$ in June 2020 for a whopping $330,467.
On top of that, Ian Matakis has amassed a total of 50 live cashes and $459,346 in live winnings.
