A couple of days ago a new online poker game called “Flopomania” suddenly appeared for a few hours in the 888poker lobby.
After that 888poker publically apologized to its players for the error via Twitter:

Accident or great marketing?
Now the whole poker world is wondering if it was really an accident or simply brilliant marketing by one of the leading online poker networks?
What speaks in favour of an accident is the fact, that the game suddenly appeared in the lobby next to the Blast Spin & Gos and was available for real-money play.
What is Flopomania and how does it work?
We asked for some feedback from involved players in the 888poker Forum to find out how Flopomania works?
Involved players told us that Flopomania is a variation of No-Limit Hold’em with only three betting rounds. The preflop betting round is removed and the game starts directly on the flop.
In addition to that, there is a third forced bet in form of an Ante, which has to be put by all players. This should generate a lot of action and produce big pots!
Important Features of Flopomania
