Paul Pierce’s wild poker home game

Paul Pierce played a total of 19 seasons in the NBA and won an NBA championship in 2008. He was the best player on the Boston Celtics team for many years and retired from professional basketball after the 2016-17 season.

Afterwards, “The Truth” became an NBA analyst for ESPN and appeared regularly in many shows such as The Jump and NBA Countdown.

While he was certainly one of the best players in the NBA back in the days and was arguably a decent analyst as well, he made some rather unpleasant headlines recently.

He went live on Instagram and shared some interesting insights on what a private poker game in Los Angeles looks like.

Paul Pierce is shown in a room with several exotic dancers and getting massaged by one of them  – while sitting at a poker table.

It didn’t take too long for the Media and Instagram users to react and most of the comments weren’t too positive, to say the least.

However, some poker players were actually quite interested in joining the table.

Even though it seems like Paul Pierce had a great time at this exotic poker home game, that’s unfortunately not the end of the story.

ESPN fires Paul Pierce

Soon after Pierce published his epic Instagram story, ESPN reacted and decided to part ways with the former NBA champion.

Even though ESPN officially declined to comment on Pierce’s departure, it’s almost certain that he will have to leave the network.

However, Pierce didn’t appear to be too sad about ESPN’s decision and shared a short, but entertaining video on Twitter.

It seems like a Twitter user might actually know why Pierce did not appear to be bothered:

There were also some other hilarious tweets regarding this whole drama.

It seems like Paul Pierce might have an ace up his sleeve:

It will be interesting to see what he is up to after getting fired by ESPN, apparently, he already received a 6-figure offer by an adult site as an NBA analyst.
