Adnan Hacialioglu from Finland is the latest WSOP bracelet winner. He bested a field of 1,910 players to win WSOP Event #78: $1,000 Turbo No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed for $259,842.
Just eight players started at the final table including experienced US pro Tim West and German reg Niko Koop. When they busted in 4th and 3rd place we were already heads-up.
The heads-up was a Scandinavian affair with Adnan Hacialioglu from Finland facing Swedish player Robin “Kabuzzi” Berggren
Hacialioglu brought a big 3 to 1 lead into heads up play and so it didn’t take long until a winner was found. The two only played a few hands before a classic coin flip, with Hacialioglu’s AQ topped the Pocket Sevens of Robin Berggren, when he hit a Queen on the flop.
The latest WSOP bracelet together with a paycheque of $259,842 therefore goes to Finland in form of Adnan Hacialioglu, which is by far the biggest success of his poker career.
