Rodrigo Seji Sirichuk Wins Two GG Online Championship Events
The $25,500 Sunday Million SHR is the most expensive weekly online tournament. This time it attracted an elite 45-player field that created a $1,125,000 prize pool with $250,839.28 up top.
Only five places were paid and poker superstars Michael Addamo, Wiktor “limitless” Malinowski and Artur Martirosian all busted shorty before the money.
Elio Fox was the first player that cashed for a whopping $116,635. Then everything went really fast and to the spectators surprise the last four players left made a 4-way deal! The most likely reason for the deal is that there were not less than three Brazilians under the final four.
The deal secured non less than online crusher Samuel “€urop€an” Vousden the biggest payday worth a staggering $309,745 and so “€urop€an” continues his current sunrun at GGNetwork.
The trophy and prestigious title did go to Brazil in form of Rodrigo Seji Sirichuk aka “Sejistar1” on PokerStars, who was rewarded with a massive $250,839.28 score.
And sejistar was even shining more bright later that evening after he entered the GG Online Championship Event 52-H: a $3,150 Blade Bounty King,
49 entries generated a $147,000 prize pool and $49,666 was up top. Once again reaching the final table was not equivalent with making the money, as only six places were paid.
German online legend Benjamin “bencb789” Rolle was the last player, who had to leave the tournament empty-handed.
Still there were five top online players under the last six with Yuri “theNERDguy” Dzivielevski, Christian “WATnlos” Rudolph, five-time Super MILLION$ winner Artur Martirosian, the Number 1 online player in the world Niklas “Lena900” Astedt and Rodrigo Seji Sirichuk.
And Seji managed to come out on top by defeating the online titan “Lena900” heads-up. Sirichuk was rewarded with a nice $49,666.13 first place prize.
Christopher Frank Ships SCOOP Event 38-H for $51K
And there is much more online tournament action as the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), which is one of the biggest and most popular online tournament series in the world, is running at PokerStars.
SCOOP 38-H, was a $530 NHLE 8-max PKO with a whopping $375,000 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament was a big success, since 828 players signed up and smashed the guarantee by more than 10 percent.
In the end, there was $414,000 in the prize pool with a $50,697 first prize. Biggest names that had deep runs were online prodigy Peter “Belabacsi” Traply, his fellow Hungarian countryman Peter “twirlpro” Turmezey, Juan “MalakaStyle” Pardo Dominguez and German wizard Christopher “lissi stinkt” Frank.
The latter was unstoppable and went all the way by defeating Crimea pro Pavel “MountainRo$e” Veksler heads-up to add another SCOOP title to his impressive online results.
