The Sunday Million 17th Anniversary was the absolute tournament highlight of last week with a huge $7,500,000 guarantee and a cool $1,000,000 waiting for the winner!
An incredible 39,500 players registered and so the massive guarantee was not only reached, but even boosted by more than 5%!
Biggest names on the final table were Vlad “dariepoker” Darie (5./$267,090) and Brazilian online reg Paulo “paulinhoo00” Brombin (7./$137,450).
However, it was Brombin’s less known fellow countryman Ricardo “RFN1986” Nagamoto, who took home the prestigious title and the huge $1,000,000 score.

Arsenii “hello_totti” Malinov ships the Super MILLION$ Week Sunday SHR
But the Sunday Million Anniversary was not the only big tournament highlight as the $20,000,000 GTD Super MILLION$ Week kicked off yesterday at GGNetwork.
The highlight event on the first day was the Sunday Super High Roller with a huge $25,500 buy-in.
Only the crème de la crème of the online poker tournament scene signed up. Due to the large buy-in 12 players were enough to exceed the $250,000 guarantee. In the end, there was $300,000 in the prize pool and a staggering $195,000 up top.
Only two places were paid and big names such as Artur Martirosian, Jans “Graftekkel” Arends. Thomas “WushuTM” Mühlöcker and Yuri “theNERDguy” Dzivielski all went home empty-handed.
The two players, who reached the money by making it to heads-up were Russian crushers Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov and Arsenii “hello_totti” Malinov.
The latter had the better end for himself and added another major title to his long list of online tournament victories.

Flagship event of last night was the $40,000 GTD Sunday High Roller. 81 entries were just enough to cover the $4ok guarantee and there was a whopping $11,340 up top.
On a final table consisting of online players, zavor4k came out on top by defeating German player “Sickslick” heads-up.
The Austrian was rewarded with a major title and a nice $11,340 first place prize.
