Minthon, whose real name is Mikhail Yakovlev beat a sizeable field consisting of 244 players to secure the $24,306.90 first place prize plus a whopping $31,020 in bounties.

A total of seven places were paid and other notables that made the money were the Number 2 ranked online player in the world Leonard “Grozzorg” Maue and Alex “Pwndidi” Theologis.

The Festival Online is currently the big online tournament event at 888poker.

Highlight of yesterday’s schedule was the High Roller PKO, which attracted 62 entries that generated a remarkable $31,000 prize pool with $9,935.31 up top.
