Geilich and girafganger7 chop biggest prized event of the week
The $25,500 Super High Roller $25,500 with a massive guarantee of $2,500,000 was the absolute highlight of last night’s Sunday Grind.
127 of the best tournament players in the world signed up and created a huge $3,175,000 prize pool.
17 places were paid and US pro Seth Davies was the last player, who had to leave the tournament empty-handed, while all others secured a minimum of $49,157.
Many big names such as Wiktor “Limitless” Malinowski, Stephen Chidwick and David Peters were still in, but they all busted just shy of the final table.
And still there were so many notables left in the Grand Finale with Bert “girafganger7” Stevens, Sami “LarsLuzak” Kelopuro, Daniel Dvoress and David “MissOracle” Yan.
The last two players left were two absolute top pros with “girafganger7” and Ludovic Geilich.
They made a deal before heads-up play started and as girafganger was the chipleader at this point, he actually earned the biggest score with $655,298 to $635,080 for Ludo.

Joakim Andersson beats “Lena900” to take down partypoker Big Game
The partypoker High Roller Big Game is one of the most prestigious major titles as only the absolute crème de la crème of the international tournament scene competes here.
Yesterday’s edition had 122 entries, which generated a $301,750 prize pool with $65,570 up top.
Once again, we saw a very tough final table, which featured almost exclusively top players such as the current Number 1 online tournament player in the world Niklas “Lena900” Astedt, Christoph Vogelsang, Koray Aldemir, Steve O’Dwyer, Andrii Novak and Teun „tinnoemulder“ Mulder.
Swedish player Joakim Andersson was among the underdogs, but surprised everyone, when he not only made it to heads-up play, but also took the whole thing down by beating no one else but “Lena900”.
Together with the two wins at the Asian Poker Tour (APT), this is the biggest win of Andersson’s poker career such far.
