The High Roller Club: $1,050 Sunday HR is one of the signature tournaments at PokerStars. Last night 165 top tournament players signed up and generated a S165,000 prize pool.
We saw one of the toughest final tables in recent times featuring online legends girafganger7, Graftekkel, IgorKarkarof, Ole “wizowizo” Schmemion, Sam “SamSquid” Grafton and the two Twich Poker Icons Lex Veldhuis and Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot.
Tonka finishes in 3rd place for $19,914.67
Parker “tonkaaaap” Talbot also had a strong showing as he was among the last three players left together with his Twitch buddy Lex Veldhuis and “IgorKarkarof”. Tonka busted in 3rd place for $19,914.67.
Lex Veldhuis entered heads-up play as slight chip leader, but faced a tough opponent with Pokercode Coach Simon “IgorKarkarof” Rønnow Pedersen.
Lex did go all the way though and took down this prestigious tournament together with the $33,265.09 first prize. Watch the final table below!

Patrick Brooks ships WCC Event #10 for $153K, WATnlos Runner-Up
World Cup of Cards (WCC) Event #10, the $5,250 Malibu Big Game, boasted the biggest first place prize of last night with a staggering $152,528.
The tournament was a big success as 126 players created smashed the $500K Guarantee by almost 30%!
While high stakes crushers Tomi “elmerixx” Brouk, Christoph Vogelsang, David “MissOracle” Yan and Justin Bonomo all busted just shy of the final table, there were a few notables such as Christian “WATnlos” Rudolph, Jonathan Proudfoot, Christoph Pütz and Ioannis Angelou-Konstas, who were among the finalists.
Christian Rudolph even made it to heads-up play, but was surprisingly defeated by British Grinder Patrick “thebigdog09” Brooks, who took home a whopping $152,528.80 for his efforts.
Christoph Vogelsang wins The Grand for $46,434.29
While Christoph Vogelsang was among the final table bubble boys in WCC Event #10, he managed to make it much better in partypoker’s biggest weekly guarantee.
A whopping 237 players boosted the guarantee by 19% with $237,312 in the prize pool and $46K up top.
Biggest names on the final table were tournament legends Andras “probirs” Nemeth and Christoph Vogelsang.
While “probirs” busted in 6th place for $8,947, Christoph Vogelsang went all the way to victory. The German high stakes crusher beat Canadian player Jonah Silverstein to add another major title to his incredible results.
Brazilian crusher Dante “Goya” Fernandez takes down Omaholic SHR for $143K
Only the best Pot-Limit Omaha tournament players in the world enter the Omaholic Super High Roller due to its large $10,300 buy-in.
Yesterday 39 top PLO players registered creating a $390,000 prize pool. Only 4 places were paid and the last player going home empty-handed was lucky_luke95 from Austria.
Swiss PLO legend Ronny Kaiser, Jonas Kronwitter, Judd Trump and Brazilian online crusher Dante Goya Fernandes all made it into the money and secured themselves a mininum of $60,155.70.
Kaiser and Kronwitter busted in 4th and 3rd place, which meant that online legends Judd Trump and Dante Goya were battling for the staggering $142,651.68 first prize.
The Brazilian had the better end for himself and continues his great run in online tournaments.
