Danish online regular HansDenSvans is a household name in the online tournament scene and yesterday he landed a big score by taking down the Titans Event, PokerStars’ most expensive weekly tournament.
55 top players paid the large $5,200 buy-in, but that wasn’t enough to cover the $330K Guarantee and there was a small overlay.
Only seven places were paid and Brazilian online crusher “pabritz” was the last player to leave the tournament empty-handed.
Big names, who made the money, were “C.Darwin2”, “Sintoras” and the biggest online tournament winner of all time Niklas “Lena900” Astedt.
None of them was able to stop HansDenSvans though, who steamrolled to victory on this tough final table by defeating “Ceis25” in a Scandinavian heads-up battle.
