Due to its high buy-in of $1,050, it attracts the best online tournament players in the world.
That’s why it was no surprise that we saw a very strong final table including online legends Patrick “pads1161” Leonard, WSOP Main Event Champion Damian Salas, Enrico Camosci and Espen “UhlenPoker” Uhlen Jorstad.
Patrick Leonard even made it to heads-up play, where he faced the strong Finn Tomi “elmerixx” Brouk, who proved too hard to overcome. Pads still took $31K for his Runner-Up finish, while Tomi Brouk added a major title to his impressive results.

Adrian Mateos, also known as “Amadi_017 at PokerStars, just keeps on crushing poker tournaments.
Last night he added another major title in the High Rollers Club: $1,050 Sunday HR at PokerStars for $37,890.49.
The tournament had 191 runners with many top pros among them and so we saw an insanely strong final table.
It featured one of the biggest online winners of all time Peter “belabacsi” Traply, Andrey Pateychuk, Preben “prebz” Stokkan and Francisco “Tomatee” Benitez. The latter had to leave was also the first player, who had to leave the final table.
One on one Adrian Mateos faced British reg JaegsPl, but didn’t leave him any chance to add another major title win to his incredible poker career.
Diego Zeiter from Switzerland wins APL Event #11 for $67,376.61
The Asian Poker League (APL) is the current highlight online tournament series over at GGNetwork, boosting huge fields and massive prize pools.
APL Event #11 was the $510 Macau Grand Prix. It was a huge success as the ¥2,000,000 guarantee was smashed by more than 50%!
¥3,097,380 ($478,944) was in the prize pool with $67K up top. Biggest names on the final table were Jamil Wakil, Paraskevas Tsokaridis and Diego Zeiter.

The Asian Poker League continued with Event #12, a Summer Championship Invitational with a $618,515.20 guarantee.
There were a whopping $87,739.99 and 5.727 players were gunning for it.
It was a very international final table with exclusively online players on it. Austria and Norway both had two representatives on the FT.
The victory together with a massive $87,739.99 payday did go to Albania though in form of “Speewo-O”, who defeated “JBradley” from the UK heads-up for the trophy.
