Veronica Brill has tweeted that Mike Postle reached out to two people about helping him cheat in a poker game before he allegedly did so on the Stones Live Poker stream. Brill insists her sources are credible and alluded that she got this new information while in the Rio Amazon Room at the Rio Convention Center, where the WSOP is taking place.
Veronica Brill Says Mike Postle Reached out to Two People to Help Him Cheat
I found out this weekend, through credible sources, that allegedly Mike Postle reached out to 2 separate people about helping him cheat (in poker), before he started cheating on the stones live stream.

As you might expect it didn’t take long before a slew of replies appeared where it was difficult to detect sarcasm. The poker community has always had plenty of individuals who fail to see what is right in front of them.
Really disappointing to hear this, personally thought he was innocent the whole way

Will We Find Out the Truth?
Veronica Brill replied to one poster, who asked why we still don’t know the other players involved in the scam, but it is not clear who she means.
I know them, Justin and one of the tech guys who still works at stones

Is she referring to the two people who Postle approached before starting his alleged scam, or two people who she is alleging actually participated?
There was another interesting response.
“There was a guy I thought was suspicious. Graphics were down and a guy who looks like a guy who claimed to be the “tech guy” for the show seemed to say something to Postle. If it was him why he would be talking to a player during an outage when he should be fixing it?”
Stones Casino’s Position
It’s a cynical view, but the Twitter user who pointed out that Stones Casino has no incentive to reveal the truth is completely right, whether that’s what’s happening or not.
Stones has zero incentive to do anything but cover this up and laws are designed to protect casinos at all costs because of the revenue they generate. It’s terribly sad.

Another gave a concerning thought that will make many people wonder.
“For sure one of the remarkable things about it was how brazen and greedy he was. If he toned things down he might’ve been able to keep it going much longer. Makes you wonder about scammers who maybe are able to do that and don’t get caught, possibly.”
It’s easy to let our minds run away with us when we hear these kind of tales. The fact is that good poker players are usually quick to spot potential cheating in a game and successful scams are almost certainly rare.
