Mike Matusow has been flamed on Twitter for inviting stakers to invest in him at an eye-watering 1.5 markup for the WSOP 2021. He tweeted that he was selling up to 50% of all his action in the more prestigious $10,000 buy-in events and claimed to have had only one losing year at the world’s biggest poker festival.

Many will be thinking that very few players are worth this kind of markup, let alone a guy who is known to mostly play on borrowed money these days.
It didn’t take long before a poster cried out that he was another of the boycotters getting ready to play.
After the Twitter storm following the WSOP’s vaccine mandate, Mike Matusow was one of many, including Kristen Bicknell and Alex Foxen, who supported a boycott of the event.
Others were decidedly more vicious with their response.
“So amazing the guy with all of the answers who calls people sheep every day is 50+ and broke. Begging on Twitter for money that he would have a lot of if he was actually good at poker and not a drug addict.”
Pros selling action is nothing new, especially when so many events are scheduled within a short space of time. Matusow might not be the player he once was but we think there’s nothing wrong with him looking for staking, he just shouldn’t be charging so much.
Mike Matusow and Eric Froehlich get into a Twitter fight
Mike Matusow even managed to get into a Twitter fight with Eric Froehlich during one of his rants about vaccines and Covid-19 in general.
After Matusow posted abuse directed at American virologist Anthony Fauci, Froehlich responded in a way that insinuated that he believes Matusow has mental health issues and needs help.

And as if he wasn’t already getting into enough arguments on Twitter these days, Mike Matusow has teamed up with Dan Bilzerian in seeing who can shout the loudest over the unpopular vaccine mandates.

Neither seem to be aware that when it comes to the vaccine issue people don’t tend to change their mind and the argument will continue.
We dread to think what kind of a social media mess these two could create if they posted in the same threads more regularly.
