Mike Matusow has stirred the pot in the High Stakes Feud by calling Doug Polk a Pussy Ass for nitting it up in the closing stages. Daniel Negreanu hit back with a stomping +$385,000 victory last Friday and is poised to strike hard during the final 6,000 hands.

Mike Matusow Reckons Polk Is a Coward
Mike The Mouth Matusow is known for his forthright views but he’s really laying it on thick here.
This came about over Polk’s sudden change of tactics in recent sessions where he started limping and playing an overall tight strategy.
Weird one today as my opponent went into full lock down mode with the prevent defense.

Daniel Negreanu ended the session more than a little perplexed with his opponent’s abrupt switch around and headed straight to the lab.
VeniVidi1993 replied to Negreanu to point out that it is indeed a strategy to lower variance.
“He’s both lowering variance and allowing yourself to limp will add EV to his pre-flop strategy. I’m curious to see how well you respond to the new strat.”

With the incredible session Negreanu put in last week, will Polk turning chicken on us make a comeback likely? It definitely looks like Polk is running scared.
