Daniel Negreanu is known for posting politically sensitive tweets but he might have gone a step too far here.
Even by making the post as if purely putting feelers out for what people think, Negreanu now has people assuming that he is in favour of such an extreme measure. Top live poker tournament pro Jason Mercier was quick to let the Canadian know this.

Compulsory vaccinations are going to be possibly the most contentious political issues over the next decade. The world will divide into two camps and then governments will assess what they can get away with.
As you might expect, the poker community is already dividing with many well-known stars of the game replying to Negreanu’s thread in horror.
Mike McDonald insinuated that Negreanu might now be a Trump supporter, while Dani Stern called the idea “completely deranged”.

Patrick Leonard, a partypoker brand ambassador, said this policy would be analogous to not treating drug overdoses or a person who steals a car and later crashes it.
Bill Perkins pointed out that we see “versions of this question every day”.
Andreas Froehli then replied with an argument that many random posters added into the thread:
“The fact that you come up with this idea proves how effective the (social) media campaigns were. Where was this idea when all other voluntarily unhealthy people occupied hospitals pre 2020?”

While Mike Matusow might not be an anti-vaxxer, he still made it clear he thinks people should have the right to refuse. He also tweeted his opinion of lockdowns and paper masks, making it clear that this also might qualify as “Hitler shit” too.
