Mike Gorodinsky has won Event #10: $10,000 Paradise Pot-Limit Omaha at the 2024 World Series of Poker Paradise.
This event was a turbo format with levels of only 20 minutes, guaranteed to be done within one day.
We saw 200 players stumping up the $10K with 30 players getting paid from the $2,000,000 prize pool.
This win is Gorodinsky’s fourth in WSOP events and he denied Daniel Zack his fourth, beating him heads-up for the title.
Interestingly, the pair were the WSOP Player of the year in 2015 and 2022 respectively.

This event attracted quite a few star names, including one from the past. Vanessa Selbst isn’t seen much these days and she wasn’t around for long when her aces got cracked early.
Jason Mercier also doesn’t play like he used to but he’s in the Bahamas trying to wind back the clock.
Phil Hellmuth, Ike Haxton, Fedor Holz, and Stephen Chidwick were just some of the big names in the event, Chidwick fresh from his win in the previous PLO high roller.
Josh Arieh was the man to break the bubble when his aces ran into a wheel, setting off a fast chain of bust outs.
Alex Foxen was one player who only just got over the line for a min-cash.
Gorodinsky knocked out Daniel Negreanu to set the final table. The Canadian was another player who saw his aces cracked by a straight.
Biao Ding led the way but Rui Neves and Gorodinsky were chasing hard behind.
First Neves knocked out Armin Ghojehvand and then Gorodinsky sent Mike Watson to the rail in sixth.
Five-handed, Gorodinsky entered an all-in confrontation against Ding where they both had pocket aces.
What Ding wasn’t planning on, however, was the ten in Gorodinsky’s hand that would hit the two tens which came on the turn and river.
With Gorodinsky sitting with a large chip lead, the rest of the players started to look vulnerable and sure enough, they fell quickly, one by one.
Gorodinsky personally sent Neves and Ding to the rail before Zack finished off Roman Hrabec, setting up a much anticipated heads-up battle.
It would start with Gorodinsky holding a two-to-one advantage, giving some hope that this was close enough to see a real fight. Unfortunately for the viewers, it was all over in only a few hands.
The tournament ended with Zack hitting a set of aces on the river, only to soon see that the same ace gave Gorodinsky a wheel and handed him the WSOP title and bracelet.
