$3,000,000 Each At $1,000/$2,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em!
Matthew Gonzales is preparing for his epic heads-up battle against online high stakes legend Wiktor “limitless” Malinowski that could make the Galfond Challenge and High stakes Feud look like a children’s game. Both players put $3,000,000 at stake to battle at $1,000/$2,000 heads-up no-limit hold’em and the winner takes it all!
As I’m prepping for my $500/$1000-$1000/$2000 HU battles, would anyone be interested in a series of short videos of my strategy prep, routine, thoughts, concerns, and anything else? If interested, what would you want to see if anything? LMK

Who is Matthew “MJ” Gonzales?
Matthew Gonzales is a bit of an enigma in the poker world. Not a lot is known about him throughout the regular poker community.
It looks like he is known in high stakes circles for his heads-up cash prowess, and he also has almost $1 million in live tournament winnings.
Matthew Gonzales used to coach Daniel Negreanu
It also came out that he once coached Daniel Negreanu in heads-up No-Limit Hold’em for a few months, back in 2019.
He is the guy I worked with for a few months when I got some coaching then you beat me heads up in the $100k at Bellagio cause you are a lucky fish 😂

Our working theory is that Matthew Gonzales has a background playing in high stakes games online anonymously. This means that he has at least some background information on how Wiktor Malinowski plays and what to expect in a match.
It would be poker suicide to attempt such a feat without prior knowledge, not to mention expensive!
He even attempted to get Doug Polk back in the ring once the Heads-Up Feud is over this week. Unfortunately, Polk wasn’t willing to give more than a single session.
First off, congrats! You’re a monster, your hard work definitely showed..
2nd, our timelines may be a bit off for now, still prepping. That being said, I would love to play u in the near future. I’m sure you’d be willing to bring the ball back?

Limitless Ready to Take on Anybody Heads-Up
Matthew Gonzales might have bitten off more than he can chew here. Kicking off a challenge series at stakes a massive ten times what Polk and Negreanu are playing is ambitious to say the least.
Wiktor Malinowski is as tough an opponent as you could find, but to add Dan Smith and Ike Haxton to the schedule might just be a little foolhardy. Or is it?
Does Gonzales have the skills to keep up with such beasts and would he even attempt such a feat without having some idea where he stands?

Wiktor “limitless” Malinowski Is the New Isildur1
Wiktor Malinowski is becoming the most popular character in online poker in the same style that Isildur1 rose to prominence.
He will play anybody at any stakes you can find online. A real crusher, and one without fear.
In an era when a lot of high stakes players are waiting for at least one weak player to sit down, Malinowski will jump straight in regardless of who is there. He just wants to play and crush everybody.
He is the real driving force behind the $1,000/$2,000 game on Malinowski challenged anybody in the world to a heads-up match last year, including a personal offer to Fedor Holz, when he said he would play drunk against him!
