Matt Berkey leads the Heads-Up Grudge Match vs. Nik Airball after an insane first week full of huge pots and big swings. The Solve for Why founder is barely holding onto his lead after three days of play and being up by $220,000 at one point.

Matt Berkey wins big on Day 1 of the Heads-Up Grudge Match
Matt Berkey started off the challenge strongly, ending Day 1 with a huge $133,500 profit.
But there was already controversy brewing at this early stage of the match with Airball seemingly wanting a bathroom break too frequently. Even Doug Polk, who has been helping Nik Airball, tweeted that in a heads-up for soulz you cannot do this.

Day 2 saw more mutterings over the frequent breaks, but the flow of play was as tense as you can imagine with the players ending the day in a complete stalemate. Berkey remained $133,500 up.
One poster mentioned that Berkey’s lead of $220,000 during the day was only due to hitting a lucky four-outer.

Matt was up 220 at one point and then Nik came back through the help of some secret meetings and phone calls.

Day 3 was clearly the most exciting of the match so far, with a couple of great hands.
First, we saw Berkey hitting a set on the flop only for Airball to hit a runner-runner nut straight.
Nik Airball fights back – Gets the match close to even
Then, right at the end of the day’s play where Matt Berkey didn’t reload as they were about to wrap up, Airball hits a royal flush to beat Berkey’s straight flush in a $30K pot!

3 bet pot Nik bet bet jammed for 5x pot on the river on Kc 6h 3c Ad Ts (550k pot)
“Airball” had QJhh for the nuts.
Next hand Matt has a straight flush and Nik has a royal in a 30k pot where Matt didn’t reload last 10 mins of the night.
