Martin Zamani and Lauren Roberts have called out Bryn Kenney again, claiming he still isn’t telling the truth about the cheating allegations in his recent interview on the Poker Life Podcast.
Bryn claims I owe him $, he’s supposed to be giving me my rake for all 100+ players I signed up and hasn’t. Why would @GGPoker agree to give me my players if they weren’t mine. This is how he dissolved my agency and proof he agreed to be paying me. pic.twitter.com/Oyop6M7V2X

Bryn Kenney was in the hot seat last night, this time Joey Ingram asking questions of the accused cheat in an interview that saw him deny and avoid allegations in equal measure…
The poker community were less than impressed with Kenney’s initial interview back in April after he was accused by Zamani of not only ghosting and multi-accounting, but also abusing his horses, and even his so-called friends…
That softball interview approach by close friend Sarah Herring certainly wasn’t the same tack taken by Joe Ingram last night, who came with a checklist of topics he wanted to cover with Kenney.

Shamans, yes – ghosting, no claims Kenney
Among the allegations that Zamani made against his former boss was that he was forced to visit a shaman, who tried to inject him with frog poison.
That, said Kenney last night, was untrue, although he admitted that “maybe he felt that way, that it was pushed on him, but these were recommendations…it wasn’t like, do this or I’m not going to back you anymore.”
One of the most serious claims by Zamani was that Kenney had told horses to collude or ghost/allow themselves to be ghosted, but the New Yorker hit back by saying, “There was never any instance where I told people to collude or soft play at any point.”
This despite the evidence Zamani produced previously that shows numerous chat messages indicating he did exactly that.
Zamani, who was tweeting while the interview was being aired, took issue with many of Kenney’s claims, adding some more screenshots for poker fans to judge for themselves…
Here is stars cheating as well as a “owner” of a site who has credit giving funds to all the players, being able to sustain this by making fields massive and having a huge chunk of everyone’s rake. Libel or a $2,000,000 debt?
Lauren Roberts, another player with close ties to Bryn Kenney who called him out previously for unethical behaviour, was also keeping a close eye on what was being said.
Kenney stated that he gave Roberts “lots of credits to play lots of games. She owed me over $2 million,” though claims that, “At no point did I have any action of hers in any tournament … I was never staking her.”
That didn’t go down too well with Roberts, who replied to a tweet from last month basically asking Kenney to put up or shut up…
This sounds like libel to me. I suggest you document the alleged monies owed or stfu. https://t.co/YlRtHThRYk

“My intention was never to take advantage of her or anybody else,” claimed Kenney, who added, “Nobody ever bankrolled my life…I’ve paid my own way.”
No GGPoker or Triton claims Kenney
If there was little new revealed by Kenney in the interview, it wasn’t down to Ingram not trying or pushing, taking him to task on multiple issues across a two-hour interview.
This included whether Kenney was persona non grata at major sites and events, something Bryn Kenney refuted.
“I’ve never been banned on GGPoker ever. I’ve never had my account frozen or suspended,” said Kenney, claiming also that he is free to play Triton Poker events and citing Triton and GGPoker ambassador, Jason Koon, as a character reference.
Deflection, word salad, delusion?
You can catch the entire interview between Ingram and Kenney at the link at the top of the article, but just a few poker fan comments to end…
- Great conversation with Bryn I’m happy you pressed the issue with him instead of beating around the bush. Great poker journalism.
- Joey you crushed this interview, great job asking the tough questions and keeping Brynn accountable!
- Holy shit. I’m only 12 minutes in, and I wish I could get this guy on the stand and cross examine. Deflection, word salad, delusion…Amber Heard would be a better witness. But, will update after finishing the whole thing.
