Marle Cordeiro and top Twitch Poker streamer Ben Spraggy Spragg have announced they are getting married. The pair have been dating for the last year and Spraggy recently found the courage to pop the question. Luckily for the Brit she said yes!

In many ways 2020 has been one hell of a strange year, and one that we will never forget no matter how quickly things return to normal.
While many of us have been separated from our loved ones for an extended period of time some of us have been cooped up with others without any escape. Fortunately for Spraggy, he has met the love of his life during these times and the lockdown has speeded things up a little.

Who Are They Really?
Spraggy is one of the most popular Twitch Poker streamers out there, rivalling the likes of Jaime Staples. 107k followers to Staples’ 137k.
He plays MTTs at a decent level and impressed viewers so much with his natural enthusiasm in front of the camera that PokerStars signed him up for a deal. Although not a high-stakes crusher yet he plays a ton and is approaching $100k in live tournament winning with a couple hundred thousand online.
Interestingly he has a university degree in journalism just like partypoker ambassador Patrick Leonard. Maybe there is something in that!
He recently tweeted how his Twitter following has exploded since announcing his engagement, so we can deduce that from now on he will forever be known as Marle Cordeiro’s husband.
Marle Cordeiro came out of nowhere to being one of the most recognisable online poker personalities in 2018. She made a video that went viral detailing her search for a poker boyfriend.
Known for her dry sense of humour she is always on the lookout for somebody or something to make fun of, often including herself. Even Spraggy isn’t immune from this.
When asked about her new partner she said,
“Spraggy can hardly call himself a poker player. He’s recreational at best.”
She couldn’t help herself poking fun at his recent results meaning he might not be able to afford much of an engagement ring.

Marle Cordeiro – As Determined as they Come
The American former model had to give up on that dream for a career after ending up only 5’7” and so poker beckoned.
She was introduced to the game by her father and after a brief stint as a standup comedian Marle took the plunge and moved to Las Vegas to try her hand at being a pro.
She was actually one of the players who claimed Mike Postle cheated. After most other plaintiffs gave up the fight Marle was one of the last to keep pushing. Sadly a Nevada judge dismissed the case claiming a lack of jurisdiction.
