327 of the best online players registered for WCOOP Event #30, the $2.100 NLHE 8-Max High Roller, creating a $654.000 prize pool.
The tournament was a 2-Day Event and after a good start Lex spend most of the day in the top half.
Before the end oft he day, Veldhuis went on a small heater and also manage to bust online poker crusher APonakov.
As soon as the 41 paid places were reached, Day 1 was finished with Lex Veldhuis being in a decent 12th place

Lex goes on a heater at the start of Day 2
Although the 41 remaining players had secured themselves a minimum of $4.229, the big money was played for on Day 2 with a whopping $121.000 up top.
Lex had a dream start into Day 2, when his Pocket Nines held on 6c-3c-2h against Kc-4c and the combo draw of his opponent to double up.
After this hand Lex was already in 6th and the heater continued. He won another big pot with Top Two soon after and suddenly was in 2nd place.

Shortly before the final table Veldhuis picked up Pocket Aces and send another player to the rail and entered the final table as chipleader.
On the strong ft Lex managed to always stay in the Top 3 and when online regular „MuckCallOk“ busted in 4th, he already had $42.000 on the safe side.
Lex makes it to Heads-Up and plays for $121.000
After PokerPro2.0 hit the rails in third, Velduis was Heads-Up for $121.000 and the prestigious WCOOP High Roller title.
However, his opponent „GODofHU“ had a 2:1 chiplead and really lived up to his name by playing extremely strong poker and constantly increasing his lead.
Being shortstacked Lex pushed All-In with Top Pair on 2c-3s-9h and was called by bottom Two Pair, which held and brought „GODofHU“ the victory.
Nevertheless, Lex Veldhuis was rewarded with $91.695, which is one of the biggest scores ever on Twitch Poker and also one of the biggest cashes in his long poker career.
