What’s that you say? Lex Veldhuis naked on stream? Well, give the fans what they want seems to be the ethos on YouTube and Twitch Poker, but so far only one person has seen the popular Dutch pro and streamer in the buff!
Yesterday I had to cut the stream abruptly. I forgot I added a camera to the scene I show on break. I was buttnaked in the bathroom and people would see it in 30 seconds.
Today I woke up and realized my Youtube editor has the full version! Enjoy @CoreySteel_ and good morning! pic.twitter.com/PHNB5OcJX9

Lex Veldhuis had completely forgotten he’d set up a new camera for breaks in his poker streaming.
He only just realised in time that he’d be showing his fans everything! Hopefully his YT editor won’t be starting up a Lex Veldhuis’ OnlyFans on the back of the incriminating evidence.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time that poker has had to deal with naked players, some humorous, some unwanted and some just downright gross.
Back in 2008, Russian gymnast “Catgirl” was forced to cover up after planning to play her PartyPoker World Open heat naked.
Her solution? A body-painted outfit that had tongues wagging and made the cover of a poker magazine.
It was a strip poker of the world’s best that hit the headlines on 2009, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen and Jennifer Harman all stripping for an ESPN cover shoot.
Harman agreed after hearing “it would be done with a lot of class,” while DNegs declined twice before finally agreeing:
“It’s not like they were going to have Patrik Antonius or Gus (Hansen) there. I can fit in with this group,” he admitted.
The 2019 Battle of Malta Ladies event was shocked when the organisers decided topless male dealers was a great idea – not a view shared by the majority of female players, who felt demeaned by the plan.
I’m not really sure how @CM_Poker @BattleOfMalta think this is an acceptable gimmick for a ladies event. I, like most of the ladies here find this demeaning for both the players and the dealers! pic.twitter.com/1evp783HIh

Equally, or perhaps more unfortunate was the 2019 WSOP meltdown of Ken Strauss, whose erratic behaviour included flashing his genitals in the middle of the Rio tournament hall after busting out of the Main Event.
Strauss was later arrested and sent to a psychiatric facility following several more strange and troublesome incidents, including “terroristic threats”.

Even more recently, Japanese poker player and YouTuber “Sashimi” caused controversy by wearing a “fake breasts” outfit on the popular Hustler Casino Live livestream.
Although HCL co-founder, Nick Vertucci, defended it as “a bodysuit and a joke” Cleeton was unhappy:
“It’s tasteless and takes poker backwards. How do we legitimize poker when this is the type of shit the general public sees when we are covered in the mainstream?”
