Foxen and David were among a group of eight finalists – Liv Boeree, Jamie Kerstetter, Annette Obrestad, Kara Scott, Jennifer Shahade, and Rebecca McAdam Willett the others – who had made it through a public nomination process and subsequent shortlist process.

The final decision was taken by current WiPHoF members alongside a panel of experts that included poker journalists Haley Hintze and Jennifer Newell.

Kristen Foxen was honoured for her record-breaking career which this year saw her lift her 5th WSOP gold bracelet and a 13th place finish in the WSOP Main Event.

That $600k run took her through the $8million barrier in live earnings, cementing her second position in the women’s all-time list behind Vanessa Selbst.
