Jungleman slid into a thread posted by Matt Glantz to throw some shade at Viffer for not paying his bets. Viffer was giving a perspective on the Israel-Palestine conflict and Jungleman couldn’t resist.
“Imagine not giving a shit about your crimes, and then pointing the finger at other people who deal with actual death and far higher stakes. Why should people with more serious problems change if you cant even pay money you owe.”
Does Viffer Owe Money if the Durrrr Challenge Wasn’t Completed?
For those who are unfamiliar, the durrrr challenge was supposed to be 50,000 hands played between Tom Dwan and Dan “Jungleman” Cates, but only 20,000 hands were completed.
Dwan has shirked his responsibilities to finish what he started, although he has paid penalties to Jungleman.
The question is: does Viffer owe Jungleman $250k or is the bet null and void because it is incomplete?

Viffer says he won’t be bullied into paying but the cartoon does a good job of explaining why he lost his wager with Jungleman.
The cartoon was a rehash of a conversation in a Twitter Space back in May 2023. It was ascertained that Tom Dwan formally resigned the challenge, agreeing to pay Jungleman $1.3 million.
If Dwan accepts that he lost the challenge then Viffer should pay up $250k, according to most observers. But he disagrees and refusing to concede.
Not everyone is siding with Jungleman, though.
Not that some rando opinion matters. Viffer bet based on 50k hands played. Dwan quitting early isn’t Viffers problem. Unless @junglemandan and @4viffer had an agreement of a partial payoff if less then 50k was played then the bet should be no action.
